Welcome to the inaugural episode of “Dreamfinders” – a podcast about the creative culture of Disney theme parks!

Every other Tuesday, tune in as host Nathan Hartman sits down with Imagineers, authors, actors, dancers, photographers, YouTube creators and other artists to discuss how Disney has inspired them and why they’ve used their talents to create or celebrate the parks.

Our first guest is Emmy-awarding composer Bruce Broughton. Known for such films as Rescuers Down Under, Homeward Bound, Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, and the Roger Rabbit shorts, he’s also a favorite of theme park fans for his work on Spaceship Earth, Ellen’s Energy Adventure, Timekeeper, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, Soarin’ Around the World and many more!

On the podcast, Bruce discusses visiting Disneyland in July 1955 during its first week open to the public, and his life working in TV and film. He also talks about the challenges of composing scores for theme park attractions, including his current work on Soaring: Fantastic Flight for Tokyo!

Check out Bruce’s website.
